Mane's placement experience at Festival Paysages, Rencontres Poétiques de Motten Morvan
We are happy to share Mané's impressions (Alumni Montreal 2022) on her placement festival experience:
"My experience in Bretagne was like a syzygy, an alignment of celestial objects, as everything was perfect and interconnected. The Festival Paysages, Rencontres Poétiques de Motten Morvan echoed our Bideew festival and its rural character. The organiser Françoise Ramel, President of the Timilin Association, has a vision very close to mine, with the ability to see things in their entirety and to grasp connections in unlikely places. This first collaboration for the placement of The Festival Academy's Alumni was a complete success because, for me, this stay was more than a simple sharing of event production; it was above all an experience on a human scale.
Françoise Ramel helped me discover and appreciate Bretagne through its landscapes, its culture, but above all its myths and legends: Saint Cornely is a testament to this!
The adventure continues, Françoise and I are trying to create a project together, from Kaolack (Senegal) to Carnac (France), a connection through the megaliths, with young doctoral archaeologists from both regions.
And that's not all, there may even be a Kër (‘house’ in Wolof, ’someone’s house’ in Breton) Mané in the village with the same name.
Is syzygy convincing you?"
