Launch 4th edition of the Festival Production Management Training, today 16 January, Antwerp (BE)
The Festival Academy (an initiative of the European Festivals Association – EFA), together with the host and partner deSingel International Arts Campus, are very much looking forward to welcome the 10 participants, coming from 7 different countries in Antwerp, Belgium for the 4th edition of Module I of the Festival Production Management Training, starting today 16 January!
The 4 days training will be filled with opportunities for the
participants to reflect and question the role of production managers and the
challenges they are facing. Roy Luxford
- Programme Director Edinburgh International Festival will be facilitating all working sessions, in depth
presentations and discussions, in which Han
Van Poucke - Head of Production Holland Festival and Mohamad Hamdan, Consultant
Training and Strategy, Co-Manager Zoukak Theatre Beirut – France/Lebanon, will
participate as mentors of the Module.
Furthermore participants will be given an insight of the work of deSingel International Arts Campus when meeting its Director, Jerry Aerts and team members.
Femke Gyselinck, (Rehearsal Leader Rosas – Belgium) and Fleur van Muiswinkel, (Artistic Coordinator visual & performing arts nona arts centre – Belgium / The Netherlands) will also share their experiences offering new perspectives to the participants. Cultural visits and attendance to performances during those 4 days is another way for participants to network, exchange and connect with colleagues from different disciplines and contexts.
