Introducing the International Guest Speakers - Atelier Gothenburg 2018
During the 14th edition of the Atelier for Young Festival Managers taking place in Gothenburg - Sweden, the participants will have the chance to challenge their ideas with a set of international guest speakers as well as speakers from Sweden and the region.
We are delighted to announce today the international guest speakers participating to the Atelier in Gothenburg between the 23rd and 29th of August:
- Christopher Crimes, Former Artistic Director of major French cultural venues; Consultant/Advisor to [N!A] Project and Eleusis 2021 European Capital of Culture - France / Greece / UK
-Angeliki Lampiri, Director of Cultural Strategy Eleusis 2021 European Capital of Culture - Greece
- Thuthukani Ndlovu, Free State Literature Festival assistant, Spoken words Artist - Zimbabwe / South Africa
- Joyce Rosario, Interim Artistic Director PuSh International Performing Arts Festival – Canada
Their presence will be enriching as each of them will add different perspectives to the conversations. Coming from Europe, Africa and Northern America, working in different fields and contexts, from emerging to established festival directors and cultural players, they will allow the participants an honest and open insight into their careers, including both success stories and failures. The guest speakers will elaborate on amongst others: European Capitals of Culture, a tool kit for sustainable festivals, the festivals or institutions they work(ed) for and will engage in discussions with the participants.
