Atelier Merano 2017, first mentors announced!
Some ten renowned mentors from all over the world will guide the
participants throughout the seven days of the Atelier for Young Festival Managers Merano, 17 – 23
November 2017.
We are delighted to announce that the following mentors confirmed their participation, under the coordination of Hugo De Greef (Atelier Coordinator, former EFA Secretary General, Director European Capital of Culture Bruges 2002, Co-Founder Kaaitheater Brussels – Belgium):
Bernard Faivre D’Arcier, President Lyon Biennial – France, Nele Hertling, Member Strategy Group “A Soul for Europe”, Former Vice-President of the Academy of Arts Berlin, Former Director Hebbel-Theater Berlin – Germany, Gundega Laivina, Director New Theatre Institute of Latvia, Curator – Latvia, and Michal Merczynski, Director Malta Festival Poznan, and Nostalgia Festival Poznań – Poland.
During their participation they not only act as lecturers, but also as true mentors as they engage in one-on-one discussions with the participants. They are present for multiple days, with some staying for the whole period of the training. They allow participants an honest and open insight into their careers, including both success stories and failures.
