Last days to apply to the Festival Production Management Training! Deadline: 16 September 2016
Following the success of the first edition, The Festival Academy, an initiative of the European Festivals Association, is getting ready for second edition of the Festival Production Management Training, taking place in Antwerp from 18 to 21 January 2017.
The Festival Production Management Training is a new initiative of The Festival Academy which focuses on the practical side of festivals’ production.
It consists of the following 3 Modules:
- MODULE I: a four day session bringing together a group of 25 production managers and 3 to 4 experienced production managers to exchange best practices
- MODULE II: a practical placement at a festival – length depending on the festival
- MODULE III: a three day concluding session gathering and exchanging the insights gained guided by 3 to 4 presenters (they can differ from the presenters of the first module)
The aim of the long-term programme is to fully realize and implement the mission of the artistic director, from planning to organization and follow-up, as well as create an international network for participants and presenters to exchange ideas and practices.
Organized in cooperation with deSingel International Arts Campus, a worldwide known multidisciplinary arts campus, Module I of the second edition will take place in Antwerp.
