Joseph V. Melillo (USA)
The executive producer of Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), is responsible for BAM's artistic direction, overseeing programming in all its performance spaces: the Howard Gilman Opera House, Harvey Theater, BAM Fisher, Rose Cinemas, and BAMcafé Live. He previously served as BAM's producing director and founding director of the Next Wave Festival, which debuted in 1983. Currently, in his 31st year at BAM, Melillo has fostered the work of emerging and established artists and forged numerous international partnerships Awards include the Chevalier and Officier de L'ordre des Arts et des Lettres (France) and an OBE (Great Britain).
Marie – Hélène Falcon (Canada)
Founder, general and artistic director of the Festival de Théâtre des Amériques (1985 – 2014) which became in May 2007 the Festival TransAmériques: a leading Festival of contemporary dance and theatre. Frequently invited to attend international festivals as well as conferences on issues facing the performing arts.
Grace Lang (Hong Kong)
Programme Director of the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society, Expert Adviser of the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme of the Hong Kong Government. She has served on the International Advisory Board (Dance) of Hans Christian Andersen 2005, Denmark, and the Trustee Board of La Fondation des Artistes of the Consulat Général de France. She has guest-lectured at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
Esther Charron (Canada)
A musician who has been working in the cultural sector for more than twenty years in arts and culture, diplomacy, global affairs and management of cultural events. In 2006, she founded Pôles magnétiques, art et culture, an organization which offers a wide range of consulting services: management, market studies and development, communication, production and training.
