The Festival Academy was delighted to hold the second of its new online activity format: a series of conversations focusing on different countries and regions in need of international support. The conversations aimed to raise awareness and knowledge about the current arts and culture sector situation and how it is impacted by their current political and economic conditions.
This second hotspot focused on Nigeria, an urgent highlight that gave us the opportunity to understand in depth what is happening in the country and to build bridges and strategies for enhancing international cooperation.
The sessions were led by several speakers and experts from the region: artists, art organisations, institutions, and cross-sectoral experts. It took place on 30 November from 1 pm to 2:30 pm (CET/Brussels Time).
