The Festival Academy was delighted to hold the fourth of its new online activity format: a series of conversations focusing on different countries and regions in need of international support. The conversations aim to raise awareness and knowledge about the current arts and culture sector situation and how it is impacted by their current political and economic conditions.
Following the current developments in Afghanistan, the fourth Hotspot focused on Afghanistan, an urgent highlight that gives us the opportunity to understand in depth what is happening in the country and to build bridges and strategies for enhancing international cooperation.
The session was led by artists and activists from the region who are directly affected by its recent events. It took place on 26 August from 2:30 pm to 4 pm (CEST/Brussels Time).
